This is the Project Finance Models Affiliates Website. This is where affiliates promoting membership websites of the Project-Finance-Models website get resources and advice to help them promote the websites effectively.

Please read all the information that follows at it covers some important information that will be useful to you every time you use this website.
NAVIGATING THIS WEBSITE
All links to the main pages in this website are listed on the left navigation bar.
Links to the sub-pages (and the main pages) are listed on the Menu page.
So when "lost", go to the Menu page!
As expected, all pages in this website are also listed with brief descriptions on the Site Map page.
DOWNLOADING FILES
Remember - you are in a "protected" environment. Every time you download a file from this website you will be prompted for your Username & Password.
Please note that if you use Download Manager software (e.g. ReGet) you must insert the Username & Password in the section of the software that requires you to insert a Username & Password when downloading files from protected directories/websites. If you don't do this, when downloading, the download process will just "hang". You will see the hourglass but no file will download!
EXCEL MACRO SECURITY
Some of our Excel files have macros. Make sure that the macro security level of your Excel software is not set at a High Level. Set it at Medium level.
This is how you do it:
- Click Tools on the Excel tool bar
- On the drop-down menu click "Macro" (not "Macro...")
- On the next menu click "Security"
- Click the Security Tab and check the "Medium" option
Note, in some versions of Excel you may have to exit Excel and re-open for the changes to take effect.
If your Macro Security level is high, you may not be able to run or even open some of our Excel files.
RESOURCES - PROMOTION MATERIAL
As mentioned above links to the main pages of this website are given on the left navigation bar and the Menu page.
The Resources page is where links to relevant material that can help you promote our membership websites is given. We want to stress that the material we offer here should be treated as examples upon which you can improve and adapt to your situation. We offer these according to our experience and understanding of the target market.
(Note: Currently, we have ONE Membership website, Power Station Financial Models. More websites to promote are going to be added in future)
We give you the following promotion resources:
- Typical emails you can send to Companies doing work in Project Finance related fields, colleagues and friends. These are in a downloadable MS Word document.
- Offline A4 Information Pamphlets/Brochures you can send to companies doing work in Project Finance related fields (addressed to Head of Departments etc)
(There is a cover letter you can adapt written in MS Word PLUS a one-page Brochure created on an MS Excel spreadsheet. You will be able to insert you own Affiliate Link on the spreadsheet before printing the brochure)
- Google Adwords and other Pay Per Click (PPC) advertising Services. We give you advice and recommend ebooks written by experts on how to setup and run Google Adwords Campaigns (and other PPC campaigns).
- Popular Keywords - we also give you downloadable spreadsheets with popular keywords related to our product. You can use these when setting up your Google Adwords Campaigns and other PPC campaigns. We also suggest/recommend software/tools you can use to generate popular keywords/phrases related to the major keyword/phrase of the product you want to promote.
- Search Engine Optimization - we recommend tools that most successful and experienced affiliates use to promote their affiliate products websites
NOTE: We recommend steps 1 & 2 above ONLY for anyone who has just started promoting affiliate programs. Steps 3 to 5 are for affiliates who have promoted affiliate programs and have run PPC and Google Adwords campaigns before. Promoting affiliate programs using PPC Search Engines (including Google Adwords) can be VERY EXPENSIVE and DISASTROUS if you don't know how. Buy the ebooks and other resources we recommend before you even attempt this form of advertising. We must also mention this - there are many people around the world who have made millions just by promoting affiliate programs using Google Adwords and other PPC Search Engines!
What we are trying to tell first-time affiliate promoters here is simply this:
"Crawl before you walk!"
We are not trying to scare first-time affiliate promoters - we just want them to arm themselves with KNOWLEDGE first before they jump into PPC/Google Adwords campaigns.
THE PRODUCT - POWER STATION FINANCIAL MODELS
Project Finance Models currently has ONE Membership Website, Power Station Financial Models. This is the product you are promoting.
When you go to the Menu page you will notice that Power Station Models is given as a sub-page under Resources. When you click the Power Station Financial Models Marketing Resources link you will get all the resources/advice related to promoting the Power Station Financial Models Membership website.
SUBSCRIBE TO MAILING LIST
Please subscribe to the PFM Affiliates Members Mailing List. If you don't subscribe you won't receive important updates meant for our affiliates. You will also not receive the updated website login details, should they be changed in future. Affiliates on our mailing list will also be the first to hear about NEW products to promote.
We don't contact our Affiliates unnecessarily - you will receive an email from us only when there is some important information to share. We also don't share our Affiliates contact details with third parties.
